Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable Cleaner to carry out general cleaning duties at East Leake Academy. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across designated areas of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning tasks including emptying waste bins, vacuuming carpets, dusting, damp wiping surfaces, floor maintenance, and washroom cleaning.
Operate cleaning equipment as required, including vacuum cleaners and floor maintenance machinery.
Respond to emergency cleaning situations such as floods or bodily fluid spillages, ensuring proper hygiene and safety procedures are followed.
Communicate effectively with the site representative and fellow cleaning staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
