An exciting opportunity has become available to join a global chemical manufacturing business where your expertise in planning and scheduling maintenance activities will play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly. Your duties and responsibilities will be:
- Plan and prioritise maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
- Coordinate resources and schedule work to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Investigate root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and produce performance reports and KPIs.
- Oversee contractor activities and provide support to the maintenance team, including deputising for the manager when required.
You will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience in maintenance planning within chemical, manufacturing, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of CMMS systems and excellent IT skills; SAP experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, health, environment, and quality standards.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience managing small projects and familiarity with continuous improvement practices is desirable.
