The Local Trust Committee of St Giles C of E Primary School are looking to appoint an experienced and inspirational teacher to lead our Foundation Stage unit of two Reception classes (with 45 PAN). Depending on suitability and aspirations, the post may also include being part of the Senior Leadership Team; this is not a requirement of the role, but will be explored at interview. The successful applicant will:

  • Be an excellent Early Years teacher with experience across the Infant age range.
  • Have the ability and skills to lead the development of our Foundation Stage, including support for a current member of staff moving into EYFS from September.
  • Have a clear vision for how to plan, implement and sustain a vibrant provision for EYFS including securing strong outcomes for all pupils
  • Have a track record of experience in school improvement, monitoring and self-evaluation.
  • Have a strong commitment to working in partnership with our Academy Trust, Local Trust Committee, parents and the community.
