Summary
The Best Connection - Punch & Brake Press Setters & Programmers (Night Shift) - Telford
The Best Connection is currently looking for Punch and Brake Press Setters and Programmers for the night shift at one of our clients in Telford.
Duties Include:
- Setting and operating punch or press brake machines
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Creating and managing part drawings
- Selecting the correct tooling for each job
- Working with thin gauge materials, including aluminium and stainless steel
- Following standard operating procedures
- Checking the quality of parts produced
- Maintaining exemplary housekeeping standards for both machine and work area
- Performing other duties as required by the Shift Manager
Candidate Requirements:
- Experienced CNC Punch Programmer, Setter, and Operator - minimum of 3 years' experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Capable of following processes and producing work to quality and safety standards
- Good problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and motivated
Hours: Night Shift - Monday to Thursday, 37.5 hours per week
Pay: Depending on experience, between £14 - £17 per hour
