Teaching Assistant: Grade 6 £25,995 - £26,409 pa pro rata (£13.46- £13.68 p/h) 25hrs Monday – Friday 8.45am – 3.20pm Midday Supervisor: Grade 4 £24,804 - £24,999 pa pro rata (£12.85- £12.95 p/h) 2 hours per week 12.15-1.15pmClosing Date: Monday: Wednesday 15th April at 12noon

Support staff are an integral part of our school and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, hardworking, enthusiastic, creative and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our school support team.
The Teaching Assistant role will provide support for teaching and learning and associated activities for small groups and individual pupils; often working with children with special educational needs.
The Midday Supervisor role will be focused around the supervision of the children within the playground environment. Ensuring free play and games are suitable and helping develop social relationships with peers.
The successful candidate will:
• Be able to support the pupils inside and outside the classroom to enable them to thrive.
• Be patient, caring and show commitment.
• Have excellent communication abilities.
• Have the ability to work using their own initiative.
• Be flexible and positive with a good sense of humour.
• Have the highest expectations for all our children and their futures.
• Have a good understanding of SEND needs and positive behaviour.
• Be willing to undertake any necessary training for the role.
Previous experience of working in a school environment or recent relevant child-based role is desirable, training can be provided for the successful candidate.
