About the Role

We are looking for a Project ManagementLeadto manage Innovate Oxfordshire's portfolio,leadingacross the service on a wide range of projects including grant funded opportunities, internal innovation initiatives and with our partnership team.This role will own and deliver the project management function and programme management across Innovate Oxfordshire, implement best practice, andsupportthe strategic ambitions ofthe service to ensure the function can deliver project management excellence.The role will work closely with technical experts within and outside the service, across a broad range of subjects such as transport, health and care, energy, environment and climate, providing the opportunity to work at the forefront of innovation to further develop Innovate Oxfordshire's project management function,leadnew ways of working, and secure funding opportunities.

About you

You are an experienced and driven programme manager, with experience in delivering and leading complex projects and programmes of work within Local Government or a similar setting. Alongside expertise in hands on delivery and management, you will have strong experience in championing the need for great project management and embedding best practice. You will have experience in stakeholder engagement across a wide range of sectors, be able to implement and develop project management tools and processes and mentor colleagues in project management methodologies. You will have experience in end-to-end project management from initial concept through to evaluation, with significant skills in financial and budget management and experience in financial programme management.

You will be self-motivated and able to work in a dynamic service environment and are a champion for change.
