As a Personal Assistant at our Derby Hospital, you will use your diverse administration and planning skills to primarily support the Health System Director in the smooth running of a busy office.

As the Personal Assistant, you will:

  • Manage email and diary co-ordination.

  • Control and facilitate meeting schedules.

  • Arrange and minute key committee meetings.

  • Analyse and collate data.

  • Management of the patient complaints and compliments process.

  • Work closely with the Practicing Privileges co-ordinator.

  • Prepare presentations and reports to tight deadlines.

  • Liaise with third party stakeholders including consultants.

  • Provide administration support to the Director of Clinical Service and the Director of Operations.


To succeed as the Personal Assistant, you will need:

  • At least 5 years' experience most likely gained at an Executive Assistant level.

  • Sound knowledge and competency in all IT systems.

  • A 'can do' attitude with a proactive and responsive approach to problem solving.

  • Strong communication skills.

Nuffield Health Derby Hospital

The Nuffield Health Derby Hospital is a modern, purpose-built hospital with 38 en-suite beds, three operating theatres, and together with a comprehensive range of outpatient services.

The Radiology department is a small but busy department covering general radiographic procedures, theatre, ultrasound, MRI and CT. Set in beautiful grounds, we're about 3 miles from the city centre, within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes.
