Summary

We’re looking for a detail orientated People Services Manager to join our People & Development Team and play a key role in delivering a seamless, efficient HR shared service across The Perfume Shop. You’ll lead the People Services team, ensuring our people administration is accurate, compliant and future‑focused, whilst continuously improving how we work through digital solutions and data‑led decision making.

You’ll be a trusted expert across People administration, working closely with Stores, Head Office and Warehouse teams to support a great employee experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Plan and prioritise daily workloads, ensuring all people administration is completed accurately and to payroll deadlines.

· Manage people administration processes for Stores, Head Office and Warehouse, working closely with the People Operations team.

· Oversee reward and recognition administration, including Length of Service awards and Employee Discount.

· Produce, monitor and analyse People Services KPIs, reports and dashboards for key stakeholders.

· Provide clear guidance and communication to Stores and stakeholders on all People administration processes.

· Lead HR audits and ensure compliance with GDPR, governance and data protection standards.

· Work closely with the People Finance team to provide payroll cost data and insight.

· Improve and innovate people administration processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency and scalability, whilst driving digital transformation, embedding automation, AI and smarter ways of working across the team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

· Experience working in a busy, high‑volume HR administration or shared services environment at Team Leader level (or similar).

· Proven experience managing or coaching a small team.

· Strong understanding of GDPR, data protection and people data governance.

· Excellent working knowledge of HR systems.

· Confidence working with data, producing insightful reports and dashboards.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

· A proactive mindset with experience improving processes using digital tools, automation and AI.

· Strong organisational, prioritisation and decision‑making skills.
