Summary


We are looking for a dynamic CNS to work within the renal transplant setting at the royal free. The successful candidate would be responsible for managing their own case load, working both autonomously and within the MDT and providing excellent patient centred care. At experienced nurse within renal transplant, ideally they would be someone who is confident in their abilities and also will to embrace new ideas and continue to learn.



Clinically the post holder would be responsible for ensuring best practice patient care, and providing professional and clinical leadership. They would review the patients care communicating sensitive information and complex information to patients, carers and colleagues. They would and actively engage with service improvement and audit, contributing to policy development.

They would also assist to develop all staff within the multidisciplinary team, providing support, advice, formal and informal education.
They would actively contribute to and participate in the delivery of Trust-wide multi disciplinary mandatory training and teaching and provide specialist advice to patients, staff and external referrers when needed.
