Summary
The post holder will support the delivery of COVID-19 vaccinations within community settings, particularly housebound patients and care home residents across Brighton & Hove. Responsibilities include: Preparing vaccination equipment and ensuring infection prevention and control procedures are followed Assessing patients for suitability for vaccination and identifying contraindications Administering vaccines safely in accordance with training and competency frameworks Monitoring patients post-vaccination and managing adverse reactions in line with protocols Recording vaccination details accurately on appropriate clinical systems Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to data protection standards Supporting wider vaccination programme delivery where required The role will require travel across Brighton & Hove to patient homes and care facilities.
