Summary
To communicate effectively, especially where patient ability to do so is compromised. Ability to disseminate contentious and delicate information appropriately To deliver safe care within a challenging and changing clinical environment. To adhere to all Trust policies and procedures and professional code of conduct. To input and retrieve patient and staff information from computer-based systems. As a Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for participating and assisting in the delivery of care / services to patients Provide safe and compassionate care of a high standard under supervision of registered nurses Assisting patients with activities of daily living including personal care and nutritional and dietary support Recording of observations and assessments of patientsadditional supportive tasks as directed by registered nurse e.g. venepuncture and ECGs Undertaking activities which include the moving and handling of both patients and equipment. You may occasionally be asked to work across sites to cover short notice sickness or leave.
