Summary
Start your day somewhere extraordinary.
We’re looking for a passionate Breakfast Chef to join the kitchen team at one of the UK’s most spectacular remote hospitality destinations. If you love the rhythm of early mornings, take pride in perfecting the classics, and enjoy working with exceptional ingredients in a supportive kitchen, this is a role where you can truly thrive.
Why this role is worth waking up for
Work somewhere inspiring:
Imagine beginning your day surrounded by dramatic landscapes and fresh Highland air. This is an opportunity to live and work in a place that feels worlds away from the usual restaurant routine.
A dream location for outdoor lovers:
If you enjoy the outdoors, you’ll be right at home here. The surrounding area offers incredible opportunities for hiking, climbing, kayaking, wild swimming, cycling and wildlife spotting. On your days off you can explore mountains, lochs and coastal scenery that people travel from around the world to experience.
Be proud of what you cook:
You’ll be working with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and producing breakfasts that set guests up for unforgettable days. From perfectly cooked classics to beautifully presented dishes, your work will be the first impression of the day.
Join a team that cares about craft:
You’ll be part of a professional kitchen that values consistency, attention to detail, and teamwork. It’s an environment where standards matter and your contribution is genuinely valued.
Enjoy a lifestyle shift:
With subsidised accommodation and all meals on duty provided, you can focus on your work, save money, and enjoy living in a unique setting rather than battling long commutes or city living costs.
What you’ll be doing
-Preparing and delivering a high-quality breakfast service
-Ensuring dishes are cooked consistently and presented beautifully
-Managing prep and organisation for a smooth morning service
-Maintaining excellent hygiene and kitchen standards
-Supporting the wider kitchen team when needed
What we’re looking for
-Experience working in a professional kitchen (breakfast experience is ideal but not essential)
-Strong organisation and time management
-Pride in producing consistently excellent food
-A positive attitude and team-focused approach
-Someone who enjoys early starts and the energy of breakfast service
What’s in it for you
-£32,786 salary
-Approx. £4,000 tronc
-Subsidised accommodation
-All meals on duty provided
-The chance to live and work in a truly unique location
-A supportive kitchen team and professional environment
If you’re looking for a role that offers great food, a strong team, and a lifestyle that’s hard to match, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
