Role Overview
We are looking for compassionate and committed Mental Health Support Workers to join our team in Oxford, Oxfordshire. In this rewarding role, you will support individuals with mental health needs, helping them to live fulfilling, independent lives. Flexible shifts are available to suit your lifestyle, including full-time and part-time options.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred support for individuals experiencing mental health challenges, promoting well-being, dignity, and independence
Assist clients with daily routines such as meal preparation, medication prompts, and personal care where needed
Support individuals to engage in therapeutic, social, and recreational activities that promote emotional and mental health
Observe and report changes in clients’ mental and physical health, contributing to personalised care plans
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health support
Encourage skill development, self-confidence, and social inclusion for individuals in your care
Required Skills & Experience
Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to support individuals with mental health needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays
Previous experience in mental health, healthcare, or social care is desirable, but not essential—full training and ongoing support will be provided
