Maths Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting April 2026

Duties as Maths Teacher:

• Teach Maths full time across KS3 and KS4 year groups
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum expectations
• Support pupils in developing reasoning, numeracy, and problem‑solving skills
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs and abilities
• Maintain consistent behaviour expectations and a positive classroom climate
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative curriculum development
• Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal Maths Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong Maths teaching experience
• Confident teaching KS3 and KS4 learners
• Strong subject knowledge and effective behaviour management
• Good communication and organisational abilities
• Able to motivate and support learners of differing abilities
• Reflective, proactive, and committed to high‑quality teaching
• Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
