We are recruiting for a Birmingham-based transport and logistics company currently looking to recruit experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers with container experience to join our growing team.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out container deliveries and collections from ports, depots, and customer locations. The role requires drivers who are reliable, professional, and comfortable working within time-sensitive logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Driving Class 1 (C+E) Vehicles transporting containers
* Completing deliveries and collections in a safe and timely manner
* Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
* Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is completed correctly
* Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customers and site staff
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence
* Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
* Container experience is essential
* Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Maximum 6 penalty points (No major endorsements)
* Must be willing to complete a driving assessment prior to starting
* Good communication skills and professional attitude
