Role Overview:
To coordinate and control service delivery in a safe and compliant manner and in line with Company Policies and Procedures. To assist in the implementation of target levels of operational efficiency and customer service whilst maintaining compliance with Company standards and statutory regulations.
Responsibilities
Business Performance
- Ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environment remain the number one priority within the transport operation, providing a safe workplace for employees.
- Work with the Service Manager to make any necessary improvements to service delivery.
- Ensure all allocated vehicles are routed effectively and meet productivity targets as set by the Service and Business Manager.
- Ensure new customer requirements are met and effectively routed to improve round efficiency and performance.
- Ensure driver compliance through effective debrief process, specifically Tachographs, Wims System Utilisation, Overweights, Working Time Directive.
Customers
- Provide advice to customers in respect of service and recycling options.
- Resolve day to day customer service issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure adequate levels of suitable containers are available for new and existing customers to ensure continuity of service and on time container deliveries
Job Requirements:
- Good IT literacy CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) but could also obtain during role.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good Planning and organisational skill
