Prospero Teaching are working with a welcoming and well-established nursery in Birkenhead that is looking to appoint a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their early years team. The successful candidate will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children in the Early Years setting, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5.
- Support children's learning and development through play-based activities.
- Work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging early years activities.
- Observe, monitor, and record children's development in line with EYFS guidelines.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
