Summary
Prospero Teaching are working with a welcoming and supportive nursery in Birkenhead who are looking to recruit an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader / Nursery Teacher to join their early years team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated early years professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading a nursery room, ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and develop.
The Role:
- Leading the day-to-day running of a nursery room
- Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing
- Carrying out observations and maintaining accurate development records
- Supporting and guiding nursery staff within the room
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers
- Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, NVQ or equivalent) or higher
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Room leader experience desirable but not essential
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's early development
