Summary

  • 40 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday 06:00 - 15:00. However, you may be required to work hours outside of these according to business needs, including evening and weekends.

Job Description:

As a Cleaning Supervisor at Sodexo, based in HM Naval Base Portsmouth, PO1 4QT, you will beentrusted with overseeing cleaning services that help create a safe, healthy,and welcoming environment for all. This site serves as home to our armedforces personnel, and your work will directly contribute to enhancing theirquality of life. Every day, you'll have the opportunity to make ameaningful impact on those you meet, while ensuring the cleanliness and safetyof their surroundings.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and motivate your team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Maintain cleanliness in offices, kitchens, toilets, and communal areas, ensuring a hygienic environment.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies like cleaning products and consumables.
  • Champion health and safety practices, conducting regular safety checks and reporting hazards.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to your team to ensure their success and well-being.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns professionally.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in cleaning or a supervisory role, with knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • A team player who takes direction and supports others.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Full UK Driving License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
