TeacherActive is working with a fantastic primary school in Bordesley Green that is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from April 2026.
You’ll be working in a nurturing SEN classroom, supporting 8 children across Early Years and KS1, many of whom have Autism. This is a rewarding, hands-on role where you’ll help children feel confident, supported, and ready to learn every day.
What You’ll Be Doing✔ Supporting children with Special Educational Needs
✔ Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team
✔ Helping deliver engaging, tailored learning activities
✔ Building strong relationships with pupils
✔ Encouraging confidence, independence, and progress
✨ Have experience supporting children with SEN or Autism
✨ Are patient, caring, and reliable
✨ Enjoy working as part of a supportive classroom team
