Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Fellow to join our Anaesthetics team here at The Essex Cardiothoracic Center, based at Basildon.
If successful, you will get the opportunity to work and support a variety of cardiothoracic services across the centre.

If successful, some of your duties will be to:
• Support consultants in cardiothoracic operations and cath lab procedures
• Ward round, admission, and discharge
• Attending calls related to OHCA in the cathlabs and plan management
• Assisting consultants in managing post cardiac surgery and complex cardiology patients in the ITU
• Attending MDT and neuro prognostic team meetings
• Cardiovascular support (IABP, CCO etc), advanced respiratory support and renal replacement therapy
• Invasive monitoring lines insertion – arterial lines, CVP, Vascath
• Bedside TTE and transoesophageal echo cardiography
• Accompanied out of hours work managing wards, theatres, ITU and cathlabs
