Assistant Management Accountant - Band 3
Full time, permanent role
An existing opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to provide a professional, responsive, effective, high profile financial management service to the Partnership Trust.
The post holder will be part of the Financial Assurance Team that is responsible for the monthly production of financial management statements to budget holders, using Trust financial systems. They provide support in the production of monthly management accounts to tight deadlines, including processing transactions through the general ledger, transaction analysis and analysis of variances from plan.
The successful candidate must have a good education and preferably have AAT Intermediate level and/or equivalent knowledge and experience.
The post holder will have advanced keyboard skills and be proficient in use of Excel and other Microsoft packages, be able to communicate effectively formally and informally (both verbally and in writing), have problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data. The post holder must have previous experience in a finance role and be able to work to and achieve deadlines. Working accurately under pressure, being flexible whilst working on own initiative and as part of a team, is key for this post.
