Healthcare Assistant - Pre Assessment/Spire Leicester/Gartree/Part Time/22.5 Hours Per Week Spire Leicester Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the team on a Part Time basis. Duties and responsibilities: To assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary care in a variety of hospital settings. Undertake routine tasks related to individual's health and well being. Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters Contribute to own personal development. Assist in maintaining own and others' health and safety and security. Assist in maintaining and developing services. Ensure own actions help to maintain quality. Ensure own actions support equality, diversity and right Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI. Who we're looking for: Customer facing experience. NVQ Direct Care Level 2 or equivalent experience. Working in teams Work with supervision Caring role involving dealing with clients. Basic awareness of health, safety and hygiene English language to IELTS 7.0 Understanding of what a caring role entails Possess the mandatory training requirements for role including infection control and health and safety competencies. Possess Equipment and Medical devices competences Understands a range of basic care actions.
