We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mobile Electrical Engineer to deliver high-quality electrical PPM, reactive maintenance, and wider building services support across our client sites.
You will play a key role in ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Job Description
We are looking for someone with strong technical expertise, excellent customer-service skills, and proven experience within FM or commercial building services.
You will represent the business professionally, support client relationships, and help drive continuous improvement across our service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver electrical PPM, reactive and proactive works issued via the helpdesk within agreed timeframes.
Carry out general building services maintenance including fabric, HVAC, mechanical, and related tasks.
Provide callout cover as part of the established on-call rota.
Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work.
Ensure all electrical equipment operates to required performance standards.
Maintain equipment and the surrounding area to agreed company standards.
Ensure all administration, documentation, and records are completed accurately and on time.
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations including risk assessments and COSHH.
Engage proactively with clients, escalating concerns where necessary.
Suggest improvements and innovations that enhance service delivery.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Required Qualifications
City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 OR
NVQ 2356 / 2357 OR
City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation OR
AM1 and AM2 AND
18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
Preferred Qualifications (Desirable)
Recognised apprenticeship.
City & Guilds 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing).
JIB accreditation.
IPAF / PASMA.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Experience & Skills
Significant experience delivering PPM and reactive maintenance within building services.
Background in FM or commercial property maintenance.
Ability to turn hand to a range of facilities tasks as required.
Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
