The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers’ cleaning equipment running at peak performance.
You’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs and deliver preventative maintenance across a range of industrial cleaning machines, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and within agreed service levels.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose, service and repair industrial cleaning equipment
• Complete repairs and service calls within agreed SLAs
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and PAT testing
• Respond to follow-up visits where additional parts are required
• Record job updates and service reports in real time using our system
• Order and manage parts while maintaining van stock levels
• Deliver excellent customer service on every site visit
• Maintain high standards of health and safety
• Ensure company vehicle and equipment are well maintained
About You
You’ll be a practical problem-solver with strong technical skills and a customer-focused approach.
Essential
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience servicing industrial or commercial equipment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to document work accurately using digital systems
• Physically capable of manual handling tasks
Desirable
• Engineering qualification (mechanical/electrical or similar)
• Experience with cleaning equipment (scrubbers, sweepers, pressure washers etc.)
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
• Experience with petrol, diesel or LPG engines
• Previous field service engineering experience
