Summary
We are seeking to employ Grounds Maintenance Operatives to cover various sites within the Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire area.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and well-kept. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for landscaping, gardening, and outdoor maintenance. A background in horticulture, construction, or related fields is desirable. The position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires physical stamina and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
Operate a variety of power tools such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and blowers safely and efficiently.
Use hand tools like spades, rakes, pruners, and shovels for planting, pruning, and general upkeep.
Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas to identify hazards or areas requiring attention.
Perform general maintenance tasks including cleaning equipment and ensuring safety standards are met.
Skills
Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable.
Ability to handle hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong understanding of outdoor maintenance practices and safety procedures.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions.

PA1 & PA6 and previous experience preferred. Driving License essential.
