Your new role
In your new role as Civils Supervisor, you will manage the safe and efficient delivery of surfacing works across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee day‑to‑day site operations and support Contracts Managers with planning
- Lead on‑site teams, delivering daily briefings and maintaining clear communication
- Order materials and equipment to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitor progress, conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are met
- Complete daily reports and address any issues affecting programme or performance
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience as a Supervisor within surfacing, highways or civil engineering
- Construction Management qualification (desirable)
- SMSTS (minimum SSSTS)
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong experience in asphalt, road‑laying or civils operations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
