Summary
HGV Class 1 Driver - Trunking | Nottingham
Gi Group are looking for reliable Class 1 Drivers to support the distribution network of a renowned pharmaceutical organisation. If you have strong driving skills and can adapt to varied routes and schedules, we encourage you to apply.
Shift Information:
- Working days: Thursday to Monday
- Start times: Between 13:00 and 23:00
- Rates:
- * Weekdays: £17.25/hour
- * Week nights: £18.37/hour
- * Weekends: £23.19/hour
- * Overtime paid
- Rates include holiday pay (also available as standard PAYE)
Requirements:
- Category C+E licence, plus valid Digi and CPC cards
- At least 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (subject to codes)
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular vehicle checks for safety and compliance
- Deliver pharmaceuticals from Beeston to distribution centres across the UK
- Maintain all health and safety regulations
Competencies:
- Ability to take instruction and work to deadlines
- Confident operating Class 1 vehicles in different depot environments
- Willingness to cross-train for tug shunter operation
