Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Clinic and Domiciliary Phlebotomy service when required with opportunity to work in clinic.

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Phlebotomist, be extremely well organised, flexible, approachable, professional and above all compassionate to the needs of both patients and team members within the service and other health professionals.


You will need to have a good sense of humour in order to blend well within the team, and a calm and considered approach to your work.

• Undertake venepuncture from patients in the blood clinic or a domicile community setting home visits.
• The phlebotomist will be expected to bleed one patient every 7- 8 minutes while working in the clinic.
• To maintain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to deliver a quality service that is responsive to the needs of
• To use opportunistic opportunities to promote health that will help to maintain a person’s health and level of self-care.
• To report any changes in condition of the patient to the Team Leader or in their absence the designated Phlebotomist in charge.
• To complete all documents accurately and with concise information as per local guidelines.
