About this opportunity

The Data Risk Innovation team is a brand new function driving a transformation in how Data and Privacy risks are managed across Lloyds Banking Group, to help the Group transform safely at pace. The team will be responsible for creating automated, data-driven methodologies fit for the age of AI that underpin policy, controls, and oversight frameworks.

They will drive the replacement of manual, retrospective reviews with real-time, continuous and predictive risk monitoring powered by AI and automation, harnessing technologies such as Generative AI and Agentic AI to identify, assess, and mitigate risks dynamically. The team sits within Lloyds Banking Group's Risk function and will partner actively with business units across the Group.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the function, setting priorities and creating a strong reputation for innovation
  • Applying deep knowledge of AI, data and automation to redefine policies, controls and risk processes in ways that unlock real time and predictive risk management
  • Innovating approaches to risk management that unlock efficiency by integrating risk guardrails within "the work" rather than as standalone tasks and processes
  • Collaborating with peers within the Risk function and across business units to drive adoption
  • Ensuring close alignment to the Group's Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and applicable regulatory standards
  • Owning the Group's Data, Privacy and Retention policies

Why join us?

  • Demonstrable ability to build partnerships, and provide challenge and advice
  • Evidence of coaching and leading teams through rapid change
  • Strong logical and analytical reasoning
  • Strong familiarity with scaled Agile

And any of these would be great:
