Summary
Solo Service Group are recruiting cleaning operatives to join our team at Waterstones Book Store, 22 Queen street, Oxford, OX1 1EP
We are ideally looking for two candidates to share the cleaning duties at the Waterstones bookshop in Oxfordshire. The role will operate on a 4 days on / 3 days off rota, alternating weekly between the two cleaners. This means availability for two weekends per month will be required.
This is an immediate start position. To begin work and receive payment, the following documents will be required:
Valid ID (passport, driving licence, or birth certificate)
Proof of National Insurance number
Proof of address dated within the last 3 months (e.g., bank statement or utility bill)
We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals to join our team, we will provide all the necessary training, therefore we need you to bring the drive and commitment to support the collective success of the team.
Monday - Saturday, 08:30 - 11:30
Sunday, 09:00 - 12:00
Hours per day: 3
Weekly hours: 21
Monday - Friday £12.21
Saturday £12.50 per hr
Sunday £15.00 per hr
Your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins cleaning washroom and kitchen areas and various spaces as required
You will also:
• Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
• Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously
To succeed in this role you will need:
• Good attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team
• To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
• Cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided if necessary
We need some who is committed and willing to support others and have a passion for cleaning with a positive attitude
