Tricorder Care Services Limited is looking for FREC 3 Qualified Ambulance Care Assistants (ACA) to join our Operations team. This is your chance to make a real difference in your community by supporting patients with safe, respectful, and reliable transport.

Location: Thame (OX9 3SZ)
Hours: 4 On 4 Off - NIGHT SHIFTS (Full Time/Part Time Available)
Shift Types: Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends, Bank Holidays and Public or Cultural Holidays.

Salary & Incentives:
£13.00 per hour after successful completion of probation.
£14.00 per hour for night shifts after successful completion of probation.
£100 Joining Incentive (T&C's Apply)

Job Summary:
As an ACA with Tricorder Care, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, respectful, and high-quality Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services.

You will:
Safely transport patients to and from hospitals, care homes, clinics, and private residences
Assist patients with varying mobility and medical needs using specialist equipment (wheelchairs, stretchers, etc.)
Provide first aid and oxygen therapy when required
Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and fully stocked with necessary equipment
Accurately maintain patient and journey records
Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and patients’ families to deliver high-quality care

Entry Requirements:
Previous Experience as an Ambulance Care Assistant
FREC 3 Qualification
Enhanced DBS Check on Update Service
Full UK Manual License Cat B (held for 12+ months, max 6 penalty points)
Previous experience in a customer or patient-facing role
Strong communication, numeracy, and literacy skills
Respectful, compassionate, and trustworthy approach to patient care
Flexible and able to work across shift patterns and locations
Understanding of the Highway Code (tested during recruitment)
