Summary
Be part of a highly experienced and supportive team of consultants delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care. Work in a department offering a wide range of specialist services including urogynaecology, early pregnancy, maternal medicine, foetal surveillance, diabetes and endocrinology, perinatal mental health, and chronic pelvic pain. Contribute to a forward-looking department using innovative models and enhanced recovery principles to successfully transition to a day case pathway for the majority of elective surgical patients. Benefit from modern facilities including a newly opened state-of-the-art surgical suite, redesigned delivery suite, stand-alone day case surgical centre, and a level 2 neonatal intensive care unit. Join a passionate team designing and building a bespoke EPAC and GAU with facilities for a truly one-stop emergency gynaecology service and ambulatory early pregnancy and hyperemesis care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across obstetrics, gynaecology, oncology, and surgical specialties. Engage in research and teaching with opportunities to supervise junior doctors and contribute to national studies.
