Summary
Are you the type who can walk into any situation, roll up your sleeves, and just get on with it…
You’re calm under pressure, quick to adapt, and take real pride in stepping into any space and leaving it spotless—no matter the challenge?
Do you enjoy being the go-to professional—the one who saves the day when a team needs extra support, sickness cover, or an extra pair of experienced hands?
If that sounds like you, keep reading. This could be exactly what you’ve been looking for:
This role IS for you if…
You’re confident walking into new sites and getting straight to work.
You take pride in delivering high standards—every time, without supervision.
You’re flexible and happy to travel between locations at short notice.
You’re reliable, punctual, and true to your word.
You enjoy variety and don’t want to be tied to the same site every day.
You’re professional, approachable, and represent your company well wherever you go.
This role is NOT for you if…
You prefer the same routine and location every single day.
You struggle with last-minute changes.
Timekeeping isn’t your strong suit.
You’re not comfortable travelling between sites.
You need constant supervision to stay on track.
Your New Role:
We’re looking to speak with experienced Cover Cleaners in and around Warrington who are ready to join a company that genuinely values integrity, accountability, and a good sense of humour along the way.
This is a zero-hour contract position, offering flexibility and a higher hourly rate in recognition of your adaptability, reliability, and experience.
As a Cover Cleaner, you will:
Provide short-notice sickness and holiday cover across multiple sites.
Deliver high-quality cleaning to company standards every time.
Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and checklists confidently.
Work independently without the need for close supervision.
Maintain compliance with COSHH and health & safety regulations.
Report any site issues or maintenance concerns promptly.
Support teams during busy periods or when additional labour is required.
Represent the company professionally with clients and staff.
What You’ll Need to Succeed in the Role:
Previous experience in commercial cleaning.
A strong understanding of cleaning methods, products, and safety standards.
Knowledge of COSHH and health & safety procedures.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
A flexible approach to working hours.
What You’ll Get in Return:
A higher hourly rate to reflect your flexibility and reliability.
Paid mileage between sites.
Flexible, zero-hour contract to suit your availability.
Opportunities to hear about and apply for permanent roles.
The chance to work with businesses who genuinely appreciate high standards.
A supportive team that values honesty, reliability, and good humour.
You’ll be working with local businesses who recognise and appreciate your hard work—and with a company that values stepping up, mucking in, and doing the job properly the first time.
