Vacancy Description: Receptionist/Administrator
Location: Newport Street Office
Hours: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)
Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience.
We have a vacancy for a Receptionist/Administrator to join our Newport Street office.
The position will involve working from front of office, dealing with enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
Job role
Working within a busy office with a friendly team of people, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:
• To provide excellent customer service promoting the firm whenever possible
• Meeting and greeting clients and offering refreshments
• To answer all incoming calls effectively and transfer through to relevant staff
• To make telephone contact with clients and outside bodies
• To undertake filing, scanning, faxing and photocopying when necessary
• To arrange appointments and meetings as required
• To deal with banking and petty cash
• Opening, distributing and franking the offices post.
• Administration support such as; opening files, typing and other legal and office administration support as required
• Ordering of stationery
• Maintaining the reception desk/area
Skills Required
• Must have good organisational skills
• Must have attention to detail (Accuracy essential)
• IT skills
• Good communication skills
• Professional telephone manner
• Ability to work well within a team
• Motivated, friendly, confident, reliable & team player
• Eager to learn and develop new skills, flexible
• Positive attitude
GCSE level at Grade C/5 and above (or equivalent) in the main academic subjects such as English and Maths.
