Summary

Little Lambs Kindergarten is looking for a warm, experienced and confident Room Lead to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a qualified Early Years practitioner (Level 3 or above) who is ready to take the next step in their career and lead a group of children and a small team of practitioners within our nurturing setting.
At Little Lambs we care for children from babies through to 11 years, working together across our rooms and beautiful outdoor spaces. Our approach is child-led, curiosity driven and inspired by nature, encouraging children to explore, discover and develop confidence through play and meaningful experiences.
As a Room Lead you will play an important role in ensuring your room runs smoothly each day. You will support the team, guide practice and help create a calm, organised and inspiring environment for the children in your care.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading a room or age group and supporting a small team of practitioners
• Ensuring the daily routine runs smoothly and the room remains organised and well-prepared
• Supporting high-quality learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Acting as a positive role model for colleagues
• Supporting children’s learning through play, curiosity and exploration
• Maintaining high standards of care, safety and safeguarding
• Working closely with families and building positive relationships
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher
• Has experience working within an Early Years setting
• Is organised, confident and able to lead a small team
• Has a nurturing, patient and caring approach
• Understands the importance of children’s curiosity, exploration and outdoor learning
• Is passionate about creating a warm and inspiring environment for children
