Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Hospitality Team Member to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in hospitality while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced team members to deliver excellent customer service and ensure guests have a positive experience. You will learn key hospitality skills through hands-on work and structured training.

Key Responsibilities
• Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and drink orders and serve customers efficiently
• Assist with food preparation and presentation if required
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas
• Handle payments and operate tills where required
• Support the team during busy service periods
• Follow health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Help set up and clear tables or service areas
• Learn about menu items and make recommendations to customers

Great learning experience with staff having worked in Michelin restaurants previously

Working week: Hours: 20 hours to start – Potential to increase during busier periods and apprentice capabilities. Hours to include evenings/weekends on a rota basis Monday-Sunday. Restaurant hours are 12-9pm. At latest 9.15/9.30pm finish time – buses run every hour to Barnsley town centre from the bus stop situated outside the restaurant however do have staff that travel to town also on route home so always an option.
