Summary
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to join the University at an exciting and transformative time.
You will play a key role in supporting and improving health, safety and wellbeing across our University community. Working closely with the Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, you will help drive continuous improvement, provide expert advice, and support effective governance through accurate and compliant record keeping. You will offer timely, competent guidance, investigate accidents and incidents to identify solutions, and support the delivery of a varied Health, Safety and Wellbeing training programme. You will also contribute to the development and review of policies and undertake inspections and audits across our campuses, producing clear reports and recommendations for improvement.
Already holding a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent, and TechIOSH status as a minimum, you’ll bring a proactive, customer focused approach to your work. You’ll help to champion a culture where safety, wellbeing, and continuous learning are embedded in everything we do.
