We have an exciting opportunity available for an International and Accommodation Student Support Officer to work within our busy International team across the Chichester College Group, predominantly being based at our Worthing College campus. This role plays a key part in ensuring our international and accommodated students feel supported, safe and able to succeed during their time with us. This is a varied and rewarding role, where you will support our students with day-to-day enquiries, welfare and wellbeing concerns. You will work closely with the Accommodation team, Pastoral Support Tutors and the wider college team to ensure students receive the support they need throughout their time with us. We are looking for a highly motivated and approachable individual who enjoys working with young people and building positive relationships. The role offers the opportunity to work independently, take ownership of the role and shape how you support students on a day-to-day basis, whilst being part of a wider supportive and collaborative team. You will need to be confident in managing your own workload, responding proactively to student needs and liaising with staff, parents, agents and host providers. During the summer months you will relocate to our Chichester Campus to support the team with our busy international summer school. You will have previous experience working in a customer focused or student support environment. You will have strong communication and organisational skills, be comfortable using Microsoft Office and be able to manage a range of administration and pastoral responsibilities. The role will require you to travel out to other campuses across the College Group.
