Summary

Sharps Fitted Furniture - Planner

Salary: £25480 (£26k Following completion of probationary period)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, between 8am and 6pm)

At Sharps Fitted Furniture, we have over 50 years of experience designing and crafting bespoke fitted furniture to transform homes, As our business continues to grow, we are looking to expand our Planning and Installations team with dedicated, customer-focused Planners.

The Role
As a Planner, you will play a vital role in managing the customer journey from order through to installation. You’ll be responsible for scheduling deliveries and installations, ensuring our customers receive a smooth, efficient, and positive experience every time. Acting as the key link between our customers and our installation teams, you’ll help us deliver on time and to the high standards Sharps Furniture Group is known for.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate all stages of the Customers orders, from design and survey to final delivery, ensuring alignment with the Delivery plan and overall project schedule.

· Schedule Customer deliveries and Installations within available resources, ensuring that our customer is fully aware of the process and agrees to the timeframes proposed

· Communicate with customers, keeping them fully informed throughout the planning process.

· Work closely with our installers and internal teams to resolve any issues quickly and effectively.

· Maintain accurate records of planning activity and customer details.

· Ensure installations are completed on time and to the customers’ satisfaction.

Key Skills and Experience

· Previous experience in a customer service, planning, or coordination role (home improvement or installation environment desirable).

· Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.

· IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, scheduling systems).

· Geographical knowledge of the UK would be beneficial.

· A target-driven, self-motivated individual with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
