About Us

Connect, part of the Screwfix family and owned by the Kingfisher Group, is a leading name in the distribution of high-quality appliance spare parts and accessories.

With over 50 years of experience, we’re proud of our heritage and excited about our future. Our journey began in 1969 when a Birmingham-based appliance engineer started selling spare parts to fellow engineers — the first of many opportunities that shaped who we are today.

Now, as part of Screwfix, we continue to grow with the support, resources, and knowledge of one of the UK’s most recognised retail groups, allowing us to deliver exceptional products and service to our customers.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Administrator to provide administrative and organisational support to our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This is a part-time role, worked across five days per week, offering consistency of cover while allowing flexibility in daily working hours.

The SLT operates using a mix of traditional and modern working styles. The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, comfortable taking handwritten notes in meetings when required, as well as using digital systems and tools to manage information and communication.

Your responsibilities will include:

Provide day-to-day admin support to members of the Senior Leadership Team

Manage diaries, meetings, and meeting logistics
Attend meetings as required, taking accurate notes and recording actions
Prepare agendas, papers, and follow-up actions
Act as a point of contact between SLT and internal and external stakeholders
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems
Proactively identify and complete additional administrative tasks during quieter periods
Support wider business administration or project activity as required

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a PA, EA, or senior administrative role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Confident written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working with both traditional (pen-and-paper) and digital ways of working
Professional, reliable, and discreet
