Summary

Make a real difference. Build real relationships. Be part of a home, not just a service.

At Lindisfarne, we provide 24‑hour care and support to adults with physical disabilities -but what truly matters to us is creating a home. A place where people feel valued, respected and genuinely supported to live life on their own terms.

Every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Whether it’s empowering someone to make their own choices, supporting them to enjoy hobbies and community activities, or simply helping create a warm, welcoming environment — your role truly matters.

We’re looking for caring, positive and committed Support Workers to join our amazing team and help the people who live at Lindisfarne lead fulfilling, independent lives.

As a Support Worker, you’ll:

Support people to live the life they choose
Help with daily living, personal care and building independence
Take part in social activities, outings and holidays
Work as part of a supportive, friendly team
Play a key role in creating a safe, respectful and nurturing home environment
What we’re looking for

You don’t need years of experience - what matters most is your values and your willingness to learn.

A genuine commitment to our charity’s values
NVQ2 in care or a willingness to work towards it
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow guidance and work with compassion
Flexibility with hours, including sleep‑ins
Respect for everyone’s background, culture and beliefs
Reliability, honesty and confidentiality
If you’ve got the right attitude, we’ll give you all the training and support you need.

Why join us?

We want you to feel valued, supported and able to grow in your career. We offer:

Employee Assistance Programme
Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme
Health Cash Plan
Bike to Work Scheme
Great training and development opportunities
A genuinely inclusive, supportive employer
The chance to be part of something that changes lives
