We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sustainable growth across our specialist social care services.
This is not a sales role — it’s a strategic position focused on identifying, shaping and delivering high-quality new services that strengthen our organisation and improve lives.
About the Role
As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving sustainable growth across the Group.
• Develop and manage new opportunities aligned to our Group Growth Strategy
• Lead the development of new supported living services
• Expand our autism specialist services beyond Hampshire
• Build and maintain influential relationships with commissioners, partners and purchasers
• Produce robust, evidence-based business cases and proposals
• Conduct market, competitor and benchmarking analysis to inform decision-making
• Oversee pricing of new business opportunities
• Support performance reporting and contribute to shaping the Group Growth Strategy
• Lead reviews of newly acquired services outside core business areas
• Work collaboratively with operational colleagues to ensure new services are viable, high-quality and sustainable.
This role is about thoughtful, strategic growth and ensuring every opportunity strengthens our services and delivers long-term value.
About You
• Proven experience delivering growth opportunities and preparing business cases
• Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding
• Excellent analytical and project management skills
• Confident building relationships and influencing stakeholders
• Able to manage a varied workload at pace
• Knowledge of social care markets (desirable)
