Summary

We are thrilled to seek a dedicated Childcare Nursery Practitioner to join our fantastic team! The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our children. As a nursery practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and education, ensuring that each child's needs are addressed with compassion and professionalism.

Your Responsibilities

Design and implement enjoyable activities that promote learning and development, adhering to early childhood education principles
Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times
Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere that supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
Effectively and kindly communicate with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and experiences
Lead and support a team of nursery staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Assist in organising nursery events and activities that engage the community
What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare environment
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Knowledge of early childhood education frameworks and child development
Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Relevant childcare qualifications or early childhood education certifications are advantageous
Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
