Summary
We’re a leading fresh fruit and vegetable supplier to restaurants, hotels, pubs, schools, and hospitals across Surrey and London. We’re on the lookout for motivated, detail-driven Warehouse Operatives (Picker/Packers) to join our growing team and help us deliver top-quality produce, day in and day out.
About the Role:
Working in our chilled warehouse, you’ll help prepare and pack orders for next-day delivery, ensuring every item meets our high standards. You'll support the smooth running of each shift and contribute to a clean, efficient, and friendly work environment.
Job Description:
Pick and pack fresh produce to order, following company procedures
Prepare the warehouse for each shift and support smooth delivery loading
Follow “First In, First Out” stock rotation procedures
Ensure order accuracy and food quality
Complete relevant shift documentation and assist with daily reports
Report safety incidents, stock issues, or customer complaints promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse
Observe food hygiene and personal safety at all times
Attend annual food safety refresher training
Assist other departments as needed
Load orders onto vans following instructions from the transport team
What we’re looking for:
A team player with a good work ethic
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Willingness to work in a chilled environment and lift heavy items as needed
Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
Friendly, polite, and respectful communication – especially when dealing with customers
Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is preferred but not essential
Due to late shift finishing times, you will need your own transport to and from work – public transport is not available at these hours.
Hours/Day:
Sunday - Friday (5 days a week)
45 hours per week
7pm - 4am (Nightshift)
