Mencap is on the lookout for an enthusiastic, caring, and all‑round amazing Female Support Worker to join our Retford team and surrounding areas. This is your chance to be part of something meaningful—supporting people with learning disabilities to live their best, happiest, most empowered lives.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two days will ever be the same, and that’s exactly what makes this role so special! You’ll be:
✨ Supporting people with a wide range of abilities
✨ Encouraging independence through daily activities
✨ Bringing emotional support, joy, and kindness
✨ Helping break down barriers so people can shine
Driver preferred, but don’t worry—it's not essential.
What We’re Looking For

- A heart full of compassion
- A flexible approach to shifts (evenings, weekends & holidays included)
- A positive, empathetic attitude and a genuine passion for helping others
You don’t need specific experience—we’ll give you all the training you need. What matters most is you.
Hours & Shifts
We offer part-time hours (based on your availability)
PLUS full-time positions if preferred!
All services run 24/7—but don’t worry, we prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can plan your life with confidence.
Day shift times: Between 07:00–22:00
