We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, inspiring Business Teacher to join our successful and welcoming school. The ability to teach Economics would be desirable.
Business and Economics are thriving subjects at The Downs and are hugely popular amongst students in KS4 with strong progression through to A Level courses in both subject areas. Outcomes are excellent with the subjects achieving ‘red hot’ ALPS2 in Economics and ALPS3 in Business in last year’s summer exams. Business and Economics sits within our Social Sciences faculty and works closely and collaboratively with the other subjects in the faculty, which include Sociology, Politics and Law.
We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners who share our commitment to academic excellence and student success.
