As a Sales Manager, you will play an important role in maximising revenue opportunities for Nobu Hotel London Portman Square across corporate accounts, meetings, incentives, conferences, groups and events. This position focuses on strategic account management and proactive business development, building long term relationships that generate both transient and group business. Working closely with the Director of Sales and wider commercial team, you will position Nobu Hotel London Portman Square as a preferred destination for business travel, meetings and events.
You will- Manage a portfolio of corporate accounts, MICE agencies, venue finding agencies, DMCs and strategic partners
- Negotiate and manage corporate rate agreements and preferred partnerships
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients generating both room night and group business
- Identify need periods and develop targeted sales initiatives to drive demand
- Proactively identify new markets and business opportunities and develop new corporate and agency relationships
- Develop account strategies and action plans for key clients
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts and account agreements
- Maintain regular contact with key accounts through meetings, networking and hosted experiences
- Conduct site inspections, host familiarisation trips and client presentations
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events and industry functions locally and internationally when required
- Undertake sales trips within assigned markets in line with the hotel’s sales strategy
- Work towards agreed daily, monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs
- Ensure the Delphi CRM system is accurately maintained with account activity and opportunities
- Collaborate closely with events, reservations, revenue and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of business
- Oversee the end to end client journey to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction
- Contribute to the hotel’s wider commercial strategy as part of the sales leadership team
- Maintain strong communication with departments across the hotel to support business performance
- Act as an ambassador for Nobu, embodying our values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro
You bring experience in a sales role within a luxury hotel environment, ideally with exposure to corporate and MICE segments. Commercially driven and relationship focused, you are confident in developing new business opportunities while nurturing existing accounts. With strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills, you thrive in a dynamic environment and take pride in delivering results while maintaining exceptional client relationships.
