Summary
The Grounds Maintenance Operative (SC4) is responsible for carrying out a range of grounds maintenance and horticultural tasks to ensure parks, open spaces, and public areas are maintained to a high standard. The role includes operating machinery such as mowers and tractors, maintaining grassed areas, trees, hedges, flower beds, and play areas, as well as clearing litter and supporting general site upkeep. The post holder works as part of a team to deliver efficient, high-quality services, meet performance targets, and help improve public spaces and customer satisfaction.
