Role: Trust Estates Administration Assistant
Location: Central Head Office, Knobsbury Lane, Writhlington
Start Date: May 2026
Hours: 30 per week, Monday to Friday, some flexibility considered for the right candidate, term time plus 5 inset days and 2 weeks in the holidays.
Salary: Grade 4 and scale point range 7 - 10, £13.69 - £14.35 per hour, actual salary £19,378 - £20,179 (full time equivalent salary £26,403 - £27,694)
About the Role
Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership is looking for an organised and proactive Trust Estates Administration Assistant to join our central Estates Team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to help coordinate maintenance, compliance and estates activities across our Trust schools. Working closely with the Senior Estates Administrator, you will help ensure estates systems, records and communications run smoothly.
This is a 5-day-a-week position. While the role is advertised at 30 hours per week, we are committed to finding the right person for the team. For the right candidate, we are open to discussing alternative hours however it would need to be over 5 days. Key Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support to the Trust Estates Team
Manage the Facilities Management mailbox and respond to routine enquiries
Maintain accurate estates records and documentation
Input and manage data within estates management systems (CMMS)
Help schedule maintenance tasks, inspections and compliance activities
Liaise with schools and contractors to support estates operations
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
You should have:
Previous administration experience
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry
Good communication and customer service skills
Confident using a range of IT systems for general office duties
Ability to prioritise work and use initiative
Experience within an education or estates environment and knowledge of CMMS systems would be advantageous.
